## What the job is

Drives tankers for liquids, including hazardous goods where the licence allows.

### What we usually look for

- HMV licence
- Hazardous goods endorsement for chemical or fuel loads
- Knows safe loading and unloading practice

## A day in the job

1. Checks valves, earthing and safety kit
2. Follows the approved route and halt points
3. Never allows smoking or open flame near the tanker
4. Completes the delivery papers
