For corporates and procurement teams

# Send the RFQ. Get one complete reply.

Tell us the lane, the load and your deadline. Our desk replies once with price, vehicle, transit days and the terms that matter, or says plainly what it must confirm first.

- ### Multi-point RFQ **You get back:** One matrix: every destination, vehicle, rate per trip, transit days and detention terms. **Send us:** Origin and every destination · Trips or tonnes a month per lane · Vehicle mix · Contract months and bid deadline
- ### Tender response **You get back:** A priced pack that states what SSL runs itself and what would be a partner leg. **Send us:** Deadline and tenure · Lane-volume sheet · Penalty and payment terms · Loading windows
- ### Dedicated or milk-run **You get back:** A monthly figure or a price per loop, with the substitute-vehicle rule and stop order. **Send us:** Base city and body type · Stops with pincode and ready time · Days of the week · Receiving window
- ### Port haulage **You get back:** Rate per box, weight band and the free time at terminal and at CFS. **Send us:** 20 ft or 40 ft, loaded or empty · Terminal and CFS or factory · Shipping-line cutoff · Container weight

What one reply contains

## So nobody has to ask a second time

- The vehicle we would place, chosen from your weight, volume and stack height
- The rate per trip in rupees, and whether freight is paid or to-pay
- Transit time in days, and the latest pickup time for the next departure
- Detention: the free hours, the after-free rate and when the clock starts
- Whether loading and unloading are inside the freight or extra
- Documents: who prepares the e-way bill and what is printed on the LR
- How long the quotation stays valid

Have many lanes? Fill in the [lane template (CSV)](https://safeandsecure.in/rfq/ssl-rfq-lanes-template.csv) and send it with the form, or send your own RFQ sheet as it is.

Honest about who does what

## What we run, what we confirm, what partners carry

- ### Run by SSL Part and full truckload, road reefer, milk-run loops, port haulage, and road freight across the Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh borders. We quote these directly.
- ### Confirmed first Packed chemicals and coatings (a hazard-class check), food loads (a previous-load declaration), Northeast hill roads (a road-open check) and perishable export. You get a yes or no first, and a rate only after it passes.
- ### Through partners Sea, air, rail, customs and charter legs. The reply marks the partner figure as an estimate and prices our own road leg separately.

## One form, one reply

## RFQ desk questions

**How fast do you reply to an RFQ?**

Our desk answers the same working day. A multi-point RFQ or a tender is answered as one pack, and we tell you if a lane needs a check first.

**What does one reply include?**

The vehicle, the rate per trip, transit days, detention terms, paid or to-pay, loading and unloading, who prepares the e-way bill and LR, and how long the price is valid.

**How is detention handled?**

Free hours and the after-free rate are agreed per vehicle and lane and written into the quotation, together with whether the clock starts at reporting or at placement.

**Who is liable for the cargo, and who buys insurance?**

The quotation states our liability terms for the move. Cargo insurance is normally bought by the cargo owner; ask the desk if you want it arranged.

**Is freight GST included, and is it paid or to-pay?**

The quotation says whether freight is paid or to-pay, how GST appears on the freight invoice and which GSTIN is billed.

**How do POD and shortage or damage claims work?**

The quotation states when the proof of delivery is returned and how a shortage or damage claim is filed, with the signed LR and photographs as the record.

**Can you quote a lane we already have a rate on?**

Yes. If the lane, vehicle and validity match the rate we hold, the reply is a placement, not a new quotation. Quote your agreement or card reference.

**Do you handle dangerous goods or food?**

Packed chemicals move only after the hazard class on the safety data sheet is on our accepted list, and food loads come with a written last-loads declaration. Both are confirmed before a rate.

**Which languages do you reply in?**

English and Hindi.

**Can you quote ocean, air or rail?**

We arrange them through partner operators with one accountable desk. The first reply marks the partner leg as an estimate and prices our own road or port leg separately.

Your next RFQ, answered once.
