What does Flexitank mean in logistics?
Short answer
A single-use flexible bladder installed inside a standard 20 ft container to carry non-hazardous bulk liquids.
Used for Indian exports and imports of liquids such as edible oils, latex, some chemicals and liquid food ingredients. Flexitanks are not suitable for dangerous goods, and the shipping line must approve their use. Ask our desk how this applies to your consignment.
