Branches and offices: the 110+ headline is the floor proven by our own ledgers (110 billing branches, 131 hire slip offices). After merging spelling variants and desk suffixes they resolve to 130 named offices in 99 towns. Franchise, agent and warehouse points that do not appear in these records are not on the map yet.

Towns and pickup points: 1,445 delivery towns and 609 pickup towns are pinned, each checked against the India Post directory. The headline figures (2,000+ and 1,000+) count distinct names in the register, so they include spelling variants and places too small to pin.

Pincodes: 2,314 pincodes carry an SSL delivery on record. Every one of India's pincodes has its own page with the nearest branch.

Where a pin sits: at the town or pincode centre, never a street address. A pin that fell outside its own state on the map was left off rather than guessed.
