How does an e-way bill work for part load consignments?
Short answer
Each consignment above the threshold needs its own e-way bill, and the transporter can club them in one consolidated e-way bill for the vehicle.
The consolidated bill is generated in Form GST EWB-02, and it lists the number of each individual bill in the truck. Sub-rule 7 of rule 138 of the CGST Rules, 2017 allows it. This suits part-load trucks that carry many shippers at once. Send each invoice and GSTIN with your booking and our desk handles the rest.
