Documents and GST · E-way bill and GST
When is an e-way bill needed for a truck load?
Short answer
An e-way bill is needed before goods move by road in a vehicle when the consignment value is above the threshold set under rule 138 of the CGST Rules, 2017, apart from the listed exemptions.
It has two parts. Part A carries the invoice, the goods and the parties, and Part B carries the vehicle number. Give our desk the invoice, GSTIN and vehicle details at booking so the bill is ready before the truck leaves.
