What does Paid booking mean in logistics?
Short answer
A consignment on which the consignor pays the freight at the time of booking, before dispatch.
Common for occasional or new customers of Indian PTL carriers who have no credit account. The LR is marked "Paid" so the consignee pays nothing on delivery. Ask our desk how this applies to your consignment.
