Which truck do I need?
Start from weight and volume: under a tonne in the city, a mini truck; regional part loads, an LCV or 6-wheeler; heavy full loads, a 10- to 14-wheeler; ISO containers, a trailer. Tell our desk your load and we pick the truck.
How much can an Indian truck legally carry?
Gross vehicle weight limits since 2018: 6-wheeler 19 t, 10-wheeler 28.5 t, 12-wheeler 36 t, Container trailer 40 t, 14-wheeler 43.5 t (MoRTH). Payload is GVW minus the truck’s own weight.
