What does Delivery challan mean in logistics?
Short answer
A document that accompanies goods moved without a sale, for example to a job worker, on approval, or for other movements that are not a supply.
Rule 55 of the CGST Rules, 2017 lists when a delivery challan may be used instead of a tax invoice. An e-way bill may still be required for the movement. Ask our desk how this applies to your consignment.
